Brandon Boyd, CATC-I

Co-Founder/ CEO

Brandon is a dedicated family man, soon to welcome a new addition to his growing family. With over 8 years of experience in the mental health and substance abuse field, he is deeply committed to helping others overcome their challenges and achieve lasting wellness.

Throughout his career, Brandon has worked in various capacities in the treatment industry, providing support, guidance, and care to individuals facing mental health and addiction struggles. His work has been driven by a passion for making a difference in people’s lives, creating a compassionate and understanding environment for those in need.

When he’s not focused on his professional work, Brandon enjoys spending quality time with his family, preparing for the exciting changes that come with fatherhood. Brandon also enjoys playing softball and is hoping to coach his kids one day. He is looking forward to this next chapter in life while continuing to advocate for mental health awareness and substance abuse recovery.

Kendall Blackford

Co-Founder/ COO

Kendall is a dedicated and experienced mental health and substance abuse operations director with a career spanning since 2016. Currently serving as the Chief Operations Officer, she brings a wealth of expertise in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of mental health and substance abuse facilities. Kendall is deeply committed to fostering safe, ethical, and compliant environments that prioritize the well-being of both staff and patients.

Passionate about compliance, she works tirelessly to ensure that all facilities under her direction adhere to the highest standards of regulation, promoting a culture of transparency and accountability. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Kendall enjoys the creativity and freedom of roller skating, which provides her with a sense of balance and relaxation.

With a strong focus on operational excellence, Kendall strives to create environments where individuals receive the care, support, and respect they deserve, all while maintaining the ethical standards that are essential to the success of mental health and substance abuse treatment programs.

Ethan Stiffelman, BA, QMHS

Program Director

Ethan is a hardworking and dedicated professional currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. Ethan graduated from California State University of Northridge, with degrees in Social and Behavioral Science, General Lab Sciences, and Psychology, Summa Cum Laude.

With over 5 years of experience in the mental health and substance abuse fields, he has developed a deep understanding of the challenges individuals and families face in overcoming personal struggles. His career has been marked by a strong commitment to helping others heal, grow, and thrive. Throughout his time in the field, Ethan has worked directly with individuals dealing with mental health issues and addiction, providing compassionate care and support. His experiences have fueled his passion for continuing education and refining his ability to create positive, lasting change in the lives of those he serves. As he works toward his degree, he is eager to expand his expertise and contribute even more effectively to the well-being of individuals, couples, and families.

When he’s not studying or working, Ethan enjoys working with technology and playing video games. His drive to learn and grow—both personally and professionally—keeps him motivated as he works toward making a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

Alexandria Fernandez, M.A., APCC

Clinical Therapist

Allie’s journey in the field of addiction therapy began with a strong educational foundation. Fueling her passion for making a positive impact, Allie then pursued her clinical work in substance abuse. She firmly believes in a holistic approach that addresses not only the symptoms of addiction but also the underlying psychological, emotional, and social factors contributing to substance abuse.

Allie understands each individual’s journey is unique and she collaboratively works with her clients to identify personalized coping strategies and solutions.

Allie’s dedication to the well-being of her clients extends beyond the therapy room. She actively engages with the community, fostering connections and resources that enhance the overall support network for those on the path to recovery. Her passion for destigmatizing addiction and promoting awareness reflects in her belief in the transformative power of compassionate care.

As a clinical therapist, Allie stands as a pillar of strength and guidance, making a lasting impact on the lives of individuals grappling with drug abuse and addiction. Her unwavering commitment to facilitating positive change resonates with both her clients and colleagues, shaping a brighter future for those on the road to recovery.

Ryan Sauer, AMFT

Therapist

Ryan is a client-centered, Humanistic therapist with a background in Spiritual & Depth Psychology. He approaches each client with compassion, respect, and honesty, fostering a space where transformation and growth can take root. Passionate about therapeutic inquiry, his work centers on helping clients gain insights into their lived experiences–to accept things that they cannot change, and to commit to a way of being that is aligned with their core values.

Ryan has worked in treatment since 2016. His clinical experience includes supporting individuals struggling with trauma, depression, anger, anxiety, addiction, and identity-related challenges in both residential and outpatient settings.

In addition to his clinical training, Ryan has been a dedicated yoga and meditation practitioner for over a decade. He often draws from mindfulness-based practices to support clients in deepening self-awareness and building distress tolerance. 

Ryan believes therapy is not about “fixing” what is broken, but about reclaiming fragmented parts of the self that have been disavowed or forgotten. Through a process of integration, clients can begin to live with more authenticity and fulfillment, thereby becoming Whole again.

Kat Rudoy

MFT Trainee

Kat entered the field of treatment with a desire to better understand the experiences of those around her and quickly discovered a genuine passion for supporting individuals through recovery and personal growth. Her approach to therapy is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and creating a space where clients feel safe exploring both present challenges and the deeper patterns that shape their lives.

Drawing from a psychodynamic perspective, Kat enjoys helping clients develop insight into the connections between past experiences, relationships, emotions, and current behaviors. She is particularly passionate about trauma work, understanding the brain and nervous system, and incorporating elements of positive psychology to help clients recognize their strengths and capacity for change.

Kat believes healing begins with feeling understood. She approaches therapy collaboratively and strives to meet each client with authenticity, empathy, and respect while encouraging growth, self-awareness, and resilience throughout the recovery process.

Lo Caballero

Case Manager

Lo is a tenacious and compassionate individual. With over four years experience in the administrative, substance abuse and mental health field, she has dedicated her strengths into delivering the best support between clinical, administrative staff and clients. She firmly believes in transparency and communication within all aspects of life, and is passionate about helping others. She understands how difficult the journey can be for individuals and strives to be a great ally and source of comfort and knowledge, with the hope that individuals can be relieved of the daily stressors they face.

 
Lo enjoys spending time with her family. When they’re not taking their two daughters to Disneyland, you can find them out enjoying a delicious meal and walking around. She is a very creative individual with hobbies ranging from needle felting, baking, going to music shows, and more. She has an adventurous spirit and a very positive can-do attitude. 

Ari Labowitz, M.A., LMFT

Clinical Director

Ari approaches therapy from a strengths-based perspective, incorporating a humanistic approach to create a safe and supportive environment for clients to grow. With a diverse background in working with individuals, couples, and families, Ari tailors his therapeutic approach to each person, addressing their unique challenges while emphasizing their strengths.

Ari’s expertise is deeply rooted in the drug and alcohol treatment field. With extensive experience and knowledge in recovery, he has contributed his expertise to numerous treatment centers, offering consultation and direct support.

Ari holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology (MA) and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of California and Idaho. He is also a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Beyond his private practice, Ari has worked in high schools, counseling centers, and corporate settings, providing therapy to a diverse range of clients.

Dr. Eric Chaghouri, MD

Medical Director

Dr. Eric Chaghouri is a 2007 graduate from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned his B. A. in Biology with Summa Cum Laude honors. While at UCLA, he helped the men’s varsity volleyball team earn a National Championship in 2006. He was named the UCLA Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2007. He earned his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine in 2011. He completed his internship training in 2008 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the remaining three years of residency in general adult psychiatry at the Los Angeles County and University of Southern California Medical Center. He served as the Chief Resident in psychiatric emergency services during his fourth year of residency. He also served as Resident Clinical Instructor and Volunteer Faculty in the Department of Psychiatry at the Keck School of Medicine.

After completing residency, Dr. Chaghouri accepted a fellowship position in forensic psychiatry at the prestigious USC Institute of Psychiatry and Law. His scholarly activities included publishing in Legal Digest and presenting research findings at the Keck School of Medicine annual conference.

Since completing his forensic psychiatry fellowship, he has established a successful and thriving practice in Southern California, focusing on treatment of co-occurring psychiatric and addictive disorders. He has developed a strong clinical team of practitioners who share similar goals and philosophies regarding psychiatric treatment, including providing cutting-edge interventional treatments for psychiatric conditions. He works in an array of capacities with attorneys, courts, and other parties in actual or potential litigation. He also has extensive experience consulting and providing opinions on psychiatric issues for major television networks. Dr. Chaghouri’s interests include addiction medicine, substance use disorders, forensic psychiatry, medical ethics, psychological autopsy, gender wellness, and evidence-based treatment of psychiatric conditions.

Wanda Butler

SUD Counselor

Wanda Butler is a dedicated professional in the substance use and recovery field with a strong commitment to ethical practice, client-centered care, and professional integrity. With hands-on experience supporting individuals in recovery, Wanda brings both structure and compassion to her work, creating environments where clients feel respected, heard, and supported. Her approach is grounded in honesty, accountability, and evidence-informed practices.

Throughout her work, Wanda has demonstrated skill in client engagement, group facilitation, and therapeutic support. She has experience conducting client check-ins, monitoring symptoms and cravings, and assisting in group settings that encourage insight, responsibility, and personal growth. Wanda values clear boundaries and professionalism, understanding their importance in building trust and fostering sustainable recovery outcomes.

Wanda is deeply motivated by the belief that recovery is possible when individuals are met with dignity, cultural awareness, and consistency. She continues to expand her knowledge and skills to better serve diverse populations while maintaining high standards of care. Known for her strong work ethic and authentic presence, Wanda is committed to contributing positively to the recovery community and the organizations she serves.

Lisa Ferguson

Administration and Compliance Coordinator

Lisa serves as the Administrative and Compliance Coordinator, playing a vital role in supporting organizational operations, regulatory adherence, and team effectiveness. She oversees administrative processes with strong attention to detail, ensuring documentation, reporting, and internal procedures align with compliance standards and organizational policies. Her role bridges daily operations with regulatory requirements, helping maintain accountability and structure across departments.

In addition to her administrative and compliance responsibilities, Lisa plays an active role in alumni engagement and social media outreach. She assists with planning and coordinating alumni events, maintaining ongoing communication with program graduates, and supporting initiatives that strengthen long-term connections. Through social media engagement, she helps promote events, share updates, and foster a sense of community, contributing to continued involvement and connection beyond program completion.

Outside of her professional role, Lisa is a dedicated mother of two who values family time and balance. She enjoys cooking and finds joy in bringing people together through food, and she loves karaoke as a fun and creative outlet. These personal interests reflect her warm, engaging personality and her ability to connect with others both professionally and personally.
